This is our most popular classic safari. We recreate vintage safaris of old where exclusivity, attention to detail, matchless service and luxury are bywords for our unparalleled, authentic, African safari experience.

The mobile tented safari is where our clients’ experience Africa in way that few have ever imagined possible.

No two safaris are the same.

You are involved with every stage of the design of the safari, from where we safari to the preferred wine for the safari, in a bespoke service offered by few other safari outfitters.

From the moment you arrive in camp, you control the itinerary.

We believe in the old addage that “Any fool can be uncomfortable”.
Ice in your cocktails, fresh linen sheets in your tent, the hottest of showers, an in camp laundry service, drink stewards, lavish mess tents, fresh bread baked daily by our chefs, mouth watering cuisine - to name but a few of the standard features on any of our “mobile” safaris.

MEALS

All our meals are cooked in camp, by safari chefs who can produce tantalising meals whether we are in the desert or in the middle of the savannah.

If you have any specialities you wish to eat during your safari, let us know in advance and our chefs will be more than delighted to cater to your desires.

You can expect your meals to be served in some of nature's most unique dining rooms: from dinner under an African star studded sky to lunch in the speckled midday shade of an acacia tree.

THE CAMP

All of this, in a camp that is erected specially for you, in an unique location and taken down when you leave.

All our tents are carpeted, tastefully furnished with pieces in period style, have en-suite showers and flush toilets.

You arrive in untouched Africa and leave it untouched.

LODGE SAFARIS

The Safari Lodges that we use are guaranteed to be off the beaten track, in breath-taking locations, away from the crowds of mass tourism and offering you unforgettable style and elegance.

OUR GUIDES

All our safaris (whether tented or lodges) are personally guided by one of our professional guides. The guide who meets you at the airport and hosts you throughout your safari is the same guide who has been in contact with you from your first enquiry to planning the smallest detail of your trip.

TRANSPORT

Depending on your itinerary, budget and time constraints, transport to and from camps can be by boat, small plane, helicopter or car.

All our vehicles on safari are specialised 4x4 vehicles, with game viewing hatches, copious leg room, chilled drinks. Bird and animal field guide books and First Aid kits coming as standard.

Each vehicle will have a driver/guide and no more than 4 guests (unless otherwise requested).

COST

Prices range from between $400 - $1,400 per person per day depending on the length of your safari, the size of your group (the larger the group the cheaper the cost) and your itinerary.
The cost of our safaris are inclusive of everything, other than tipping and your personal purchases.
